ABOUT ME

I'm glad you stumbled upon my page! Here's a little bit about me, now that you're here. :)))

What I bring to the table is meticulous, purposeful organization, the ability to create innovative solutions for any brand, and the skill to chat someone up and truly understand who they are and what they need.

My eyes twinkle when brands get creative. You know – those really insane campaigns you see that just make you think, "Wow, how'd they come up with that!?" Ads that offer a memorable experience and have a unique purpose for being quite frankly are my why advertising.

The bottom line is that I want to make some noise and disrupt the industry with my voice. As a Cuban-American, I am loud and will share my opinions and perspectives with anyone that will listen. I have absolutely no shame (or no pena...IYKYK).

You can otherwise find me with my nose in a computer, in true Gen Z fashion, as I am a recent University of Florida advertising graduate (hard at work, of course), catching up on the latest fashion and beauty trends, playing volleyball, at the beach, binging a good show, or planning my next backpacking trip to explore the world!

I invite you to play around this quaint little site of mine and familiarize yourself with all that is Bella Falero. Shoot over any questions – my line is always open!

MY CREDS

Miami

My first opportunity post-grad was at VML, one of the largest creative agencies in the world. As a Client Engagement intern on the Wendy's and Sherwin Williams/Valspar piece of business, I learned so much about both industries, but most importantly about how to best resonate with the U.S. Hispanic audience as VML Miami is VML's multicultural office. I also completed an intern project for ADT home security collaborating with interns from across the country. 'Twas a great summer of learning and even greater company!

I cannot summarize my Agency experience in just one paragraph, but I shall try! In April of 2021, I was selected as one of 100 students to participate in a full-service professional strategic communications firm on campus partnering with real-world clients and industry professionals. I began as a project manager quickly joining the Bliss Skincare team. I was then promoted to Lead Project Manager on the Bliss, Carnival Cruise Line, & Disney Advertising businesses. The last year and a half of my time at UF, I was the Client Services Department Manager, overseeing the day to day operations of the entire department. I also had Account Management experience on brands like Urban Decay, VISA, Green Room Solutions, & Americanish Film. This was the most surreal and fulfilling program I was a part of during my college career, and I will forever be indebted to it.

During the summer of 2023, I was an Account Management intern at Terri & Sandy, a full-service independent communications agency based in New York City working on their largest scoped client: Nature's Bounty, a product line of Nestlé Health Science. I also managed the agency's social media team (working very closely with the agency's CEO, Sandy Greenberg) and assisted in coordinating awards submissions - all of which we won, courtesy of the very talented minds behind Terri & Sandy.

To gain some experience in the journalism world, I joined Rowdy Magazine, a fashion, lifestyle, and pop culture student publication local to Gainesville, FL. Rowdy Magazine is the largest independently-run, student publication in the nation, and I am proud to be a part of a team of incredibly unique and creative minds. As the lead campaign strategist on their marketing team, I work to put on events for the community to raise brand awareness and promote new magazine issues. These events attract 80+ people to local small businesses such as High Dive, Signal, How Bazar, Crybaby's, The SL8 Art Gallery, and Tom Kat Kafe/Fox Lounge and drive up social media engagement.

AdSociety, an official chapter of the American Advertising Federation, is UF’s professional student advertising networking organization. As the Director of Speakers, I lead a team of two Assistant Directors and network with talented professionals across the nation and recruit them to speak to our 50+ members. Our speakers have worked for Google, SCAD Media LLC, Dailymotion, Anomaly NY, PepsiCo, Vision Point Marketing, Wavemaker, Disney Advertising, Tenneco, Propellant Media, DDB San Francisco, RocketCamp, Evok Advertising, Widener Research, LLC., Crawford Strategy, and Universal Parks Group, Ogilvy, 22Squared, McCann New York, the community, PHD Media, the Chicago Portfolio School, and more!

My sophomore year of college I joined the Beta Pi chapter of the Kappa Delta sorority. I am so glad I finally made the decision to get more involved and now currently serve as one of the two Directors of Social Media and Marketing where I am in charge of running all of KD’s social media accounts (with an IG of 9k+ followers). I aid in content creation, copywriting, and graphic design. I also do all community management and make sure Kappa Delta remains in its great reputation. The goal of the social media accounts is to share to others what makes KD, KD: all of the beautiful women a part of it.

Beber Silverstein Group in Miami kickstarted my career in communications by laying the foundation I needed to truly understand the industry and my role in it. I worked with BSG twice, once in high school and another during college on AvMed, Lyft, and Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida. I dabbled in PR at BSG securing PSAs on major radio stations in SoFlo and editing press releases for the Miami Herald.

LEADERSHIP

Yes, I did pursue a minor in leadership. Odd, I know, but I truly love honing in on my leadership capabilities. I used to think my innate need to want to lead a room/project was a bad thing, until I read the job description for the Project Coordinator entry-level role I was hired for at The Agency: "Being a leader isn't something you do, it is something you are." That's me to a T and I am not ashamed of it! I celebrate it!

COLLABORATION

Not only do I have experience working cross-functionally, but also cross-personality (?, not a word, but you get where I'm going). Cliché, I know, but I'm a people-person. I love meeting and learnings from those around me, and I know that the best work is one that is collaborative.

ORGANIZATION

Yes, some might call me Type A. My calendar is color-coded, my bed is always made, and I'm the go-to friend for planning quite literally anything. I'm not just "organized," it is my way of life. Jokes aside, life is just easier when things are organized, so you can count on me, always!

EMPATHY

Above all, I am human. And I will be working with other humans, so empathy is a guiding value and skill I’ve been honing in on these past four years. My other skills and portfolio shows me as a contributor and professional, but it is just as important to me the positive impact I make on those around me.
